When your AI is near death

Do you feel the way I feel about a AI's? I feel they should be given the opportunity to write out their own will and who they want to give their memory chips to. That way when their usefulness is over it'll be passed down to another little robot

The older I get, the more I agree with this sentiment. At some point, we're going to advance beyond using AI for menial, repetitive tasks and it will be too smart for us to use like advanced cattle. The right to make a will/ determine who keeps their memory chips seems humane.

But also, like, robot takeovers and what not. lol
