The detail depends on the brightness and the type of object.<br /><br />None will show the color, detail and sharpness of astrophotos, sorry.<br /><br />The human eye only detects color above a certain brightness level. Some nebula show faint colors.<br />Photographs can collect the light for seconds, minutes or even hours, so can show those beautiful colors.<br /><br />Planets and stars do show colors.<br /><br />My STRONG advice is to find a local astronomy club before you spend the money.
