Astronomers have found a Star moving super fast (8% of c)! Does this change anything about our current understanding of Stars?

It's so interesting! The funny thing is the light coming from the Star will be travelling at the same speed of light as per Einsteins Special Theory of Relativity!

Where is this star located? If its trajectory can be traced back to the galactic center, then it was probably part of a binary system that wondered to close to Sagitarius A, and its sibling was a snack to sagitarius A, while the star in question was ejected clear. 8% the speed of light?! That's astonding!
