Whether Bigelow succeeds in his space venture or not he deserves a huge amount of credit for at least trying to make things happen. It would be a BIG step in the right direction for private enterprise to take over what was previously an exclusive NASA function. NASA does aeronautical research but doesn't operate an airline.
