As long as the Bionic Woman is going to be on the Sci-Fi Channel, I have an assignment for her: Take out Flash Gordon, with extreme prejudice and by any means necessary.

A little tongue-in-cheek there, and a nod to the early days of TNG, when the SF mailing list from ArpaNet was filled with "Wesly MUST Die" posts.

Wayne

"1) Give no quarter; 2) Take no prisoners; 3) Sink everything." Admiral Jackie Fisher

I had sort of wished that he and Troi got left on a planet somewhere, once or twice myself.

Flash Gordon is immensely better sci-fi fare than some of the crap they run. wrestling and ghost hunters come immediately to mind. oh, and let's not forget any crappy movie with the words, "volcano", "earthquake", "tornado" etc. etc. etc. in the title.

Not me. Nights are subject to poor attention span right now.

I have had a broken tooth for weeks - got it taken care of today....

Wayne

"1) Give no quarter; 2) Take no prisoners; 3) Sink everything." Admiral Jackie Fisher

Yes, and dark. Jamie goes from 24 year old girlfriend of the lab rat at Wolf Creek, who's also raising her teen sister, to Sarah Conner on steroids. By the end she's the one setting terms for her "participation".

It's also a hit so far; the highest rated Wed. premiere since The West Wing, beating all comers.

I liked it. It was also nice to see Katie Sakhoff as Jamie's nemesis.

I didn't even miss the original bionic sound effects!

I think the trend after Batman Begins and Battlestar Galactica is to go dark & serious, no cheesy sound etc., which is just fine with me.
