Hi diamondspaceguy.

Have you seen this thread in Space Business and Technology?

Andrew Brown.

"I suddenly noticed an anomaly to the left of Io, just off the rim of that world. It was extremely large with respect to the overall size of Io and crescent shaped. yeah i have thanks though!
RpK is joint company with RkG. They almost run however as two seperate companies, with NASA being stupid enough to keep such low support for COTS public RpK lost the investors which would have covered the $ needed! As NASA were not prooving they would invest further into the future and offer support for commercial companies RpK lost a large Canadian cash flow they were dependant on. Nasa then saw they were low on their goals and pulled the money. Complete joke!

RpG is where the concentration of the organisation is going now. Perhaps if they could get the funding for this ship then some of it would run through into Kistler also.

thanks

The new configuration is very very conventional looking. But that makes it odd for the intended application.

Most strange is the T-tail configuration. While ordinary enough practice for subsonic jets, T-tails caused all sorts of problems for several of the first generation supersonic jet fighters (which lead to the innovative solution of low mounted tails on later fighters).

A T tail can sometimes be beneficial as it will get the tail surfaces out of the shock wake of the wings
