I though BOR-4 came after the spiral effort had been cancled in favor of the buran.

Though the pictue is not up yet, I think it points out that that the technology to develop a vehicle to put into orbit and return exists today. The problem become getting it from the ground to orbit. Rutan dosen't have to to develop an orbital vehicle from scratch, he has to figure a way to get it to orbit. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
