50 years ago the hyperphrenic chatter was about global cooling. There was a suggested operation to blacken polar ice caps to induce thawing and warming. Now the very opposite problem is global warming? Perhaps instead of "fiddling diddling" with Mother Nature we should address the obvious sources of air, water, and soil pollution that directly impact humans and our ecological support base. One salient example is the destruction of rain forests for agriculture and cheap wood products. Another is rampant human overpopulation and life style demands for existing resources
It’s really not an either/or situation .
Actually if you agree with man pushed global warming or not there are a lot of common sense goals both sides can agree on that would slow global warming, if you believe in it and cleant the environment if you don’t win-win,
Let forests regrow, the cheapest and most impactful thing you can do to take carbon out of the atmosphere. Notice I said to let them regrow, planting isn’t even necessary.
More nukes, many more nukes. Cleaner air and less carbon. Don’t let the Luddites determine the future of energy.
Quit giving China a free pass, quit allowing them to build
more coal fired plants instead of taking them off line like the rest of the world.
Mandate irradiation of important foods to decrease waste. Again, don’t let idiots decide the future.

As for overpopulation it is not a problem. The world’s population growth is slowing and within a few decades will completely stop. China, Japan and Russia are already dealing with the
under population problem which will present a crisis to future societies.
