Yeah, I saw that first clip, I thought it was very effective, you wouldn't be unhappy, if you were the person who made that, to have heard the absolute storm of excited comment in the theatre when it showed.<br /><br />Bet it ends up being disappointing, like the matrix part three. Many people will go to see it simply because they were intrigued by its advert.<br /><br />I am betting it is Gojiira fighting someone.<br /><br /><img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" /> <br /><br />"Save us Gojira!" shout the New Yorkers, and , the big guy steps up to the plate, snatches up the bad monster, and knocks Lady L's head down range with the bad-guy-bat.<br /><br />(I personally think it is damned poor form, how that symbolic masterpiece, the gift of one greatful nation to another, in the name of freedom, keeps being used in movies for cheap tricks. Someone needs to make a <br /><br />"Lady Liberty destroys Hollywoodland : Paybacks, aren't they the Peach".<br /><br /> movie.

The production company for cloverfield has set up a bunch of websites for it.<br /><br />All the main characters have a scripted presence on myspace.<br /><br />There is a backstory involving a Japanese company and its subsidary that have websites. One of the companies does deep sea drilling for oil, another does research on deep sea extremophiles, and yet another "slusho" is a drink that uses a secret deep sea ingrediant. The websites are very realistic, complete with advertisments.<br /><br />There are videos out from foriegn tv stations that show a disaster at a deep sea oil drilling rig, with seismological news, etc.<br /><br />Probably a lot more out there that I do not know about. <br /><br />http://1-18-08.livejournal.com/ <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
