This may be more for sci-fi but perhaps someone can find some light in my theory.

I was having an alcoholic beverage one night and the question crossed my mind would humankind be able to shoot down an alien craft.

That was my set goal was to theorize how to shoot down armored technology.

I started with wanting to use Pennie’s at the speed of light to blast objects away. Luckily I found out that we will theorize with old copper Pennie’s containing 95% copper.

What if you super heated the copper to a circle ball then compressed it with enough force for electrons to escape into a wire directed at the tip releasing it in a near simultaneous instant that leads to a ball of proton rich copper being propelled by theoretical bolt of electrons produced

I believe steam oscillators and even the pyramids work by generating electricity when matter has no where else to travel but electrons into a wire to relieve stress.

This is just a thought I had trying to theorize self defense. My theory is closest to teslas particle emitter. Well it had the same goal. But mine uses a bolt of lightning not light.
 
It’s hard to remember because I lost that notebook containing methods such as transfer of pressure to electricity. The penny shooter would have used blank bullets to explode a transfer of energy to compressed magma releasing pages through pressure port followed by any electricity generated.

The theory behind this is while initial speeds may be like bullet with enough powder. If you abstract electrons from copper does it become proton rich. Which when electricity is fired in simultaneously burst. Will it emit particles like teslas device. Just not as fast or as brilliant
 
If this technology is ever possible I would not test trying to move a penny 270000 mph indoors or maybe at all if it was possible. But it was fun to think how could I defend the sky. I no it’s a big NO
 
This idea makes me happy with myself because rail guns operate in a similar way. While a particle emitter only emits particles. I named this idea the penny shooter.

I find it amusing that rail guns shoot as faster than some tank bullets

I have no foul intent this was for earth defense. However in my vision you could blow a path to space so never aim at the ground or maybe moon… lol I know I’m crazy. Technically but I’m loving
 
The reason I theorize this might be catastrophic power because a rail gun works using emf.

In my notebook the goal was to imagine a lightning bolt standing still now this proton rich ball is slingshotted in that brief moment through the lightning bolt.

This is a sci-fi idea that amuses the mad scientist side of my brain.

This cannot happen. Not in the way you imagine it. Theoretically, when we start manipulating forces and fields much, much better, it will probably be possible to release adrons like protons and neutrons and collect them into a ball, but not with the method described in the introductory post. However, will the energy and effort spent allow the military use of this ball? Yes, if we learn to control remotely, or in some other way, the pressure inward so that the particles do not split into nuclei with a dimension at which they are stable. In general, even if we ever manage to achieve this, in a way that is possible, it will hardly be worth the expense. For us to be able to do this, it will be when we have advanced enough to be able to create and shoot with... mini black holes, and they will cause more damage than a ball of adrons.

I only took chemistry 1 but I was a know it all because you sort of had to be. Chemistry for me was an all or nothing class. Is it the entire theory that is wrong or just the sling shot through the lightning bolt? Because when I learned what a rail gun is the design was similar. The electricity propels the mass. I know they are different but I was pleased to see some form of electricity used to propel an object.

I knew it was a long shot and I lost all my prior notes on it. Here is one theory if all thermal energy from a molten copper mass is converted into electricity and briefly stored behind the copper mass outside wires wrapped around the barrel. How much electricity would it take to reach the consideration of a hand held rail gun?

If all thermal energy is converted the copper should be cooled again theoretically
