The question isn't "Are we running out of time?". That easy answer is yes. The real question is, "How much time have we got left? Do we have trillions upon trillions of years or about 22 minutes?"

For humanity this is demonstrably the best time ever to be alive. The Covid virus is barely a pinprick on the world’s population. Global warming isn’t going to kill us. Food production continues to grow. The world’s population is going to level out naturally. Nuclear weapons have stabilized the world and prevented untold deaths by preventing a WW3.
Is it all rainbows and unicorns?
No, but I’d rather be living now than anytime in the past.
The future will have it’s challenges but it’s a bright one.
