A Titan IV was the first unmanned rocket I ever saw launched from Cape Canaveral.

*sniffs*

The last Titan IV from Cape Canaveral..... It makes me kind of sad. I always wanted to see one launch, and I don't think I have any chance of getting down there for this one. But maybe I can wrangle a trip to visit relatives in California for the absolute last Titan IV, which is planned to fly next summer from Vandenburg.

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly . . . timey wimey . . . stuff." -- The Tenth Doctor, "Blink"

I was wondering the same thing, maybe it takes 6 months worth of prepwork, but that seems unlikely, to me.

I'll have to think about it!

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly . . . timey wimey . . . stuff." -- The Tenth Doctor, "Blink"

Most folks consider February a great time to get out of Minnesota

That's probably when I'll be on the MSP run. Did I mention I was up there about 2 weeks ago? You folks have a nice airport cargo facility, very friendy too. I hope I upgrade to First Officer before winter.

I'd offer to put you up at our house, BUT

(a) You can't get much farther from the Cape than our house and *still* be in Florida

(b) My son is a cute flirt, so both you and Ada would be in serious danger.

Wayne

"1) Give no quarter; 2) Take no prisoners; 3) Sink everything." Admiral Jackie Fisher
