http://www.space.com/missionlaunches/virgin_space_040927.html

Still out of my price range but they're talking 290,000 australian, compared to the 25-30 million paid by the other ones it's a bargain!

Seriously though it really sounds great, and the more people take it up,the cheaper it will get!
I just hope it does "take off"!!

Question

If you took a flight, seeing as you qualify though altitude would you be able to call yourself an Astronaut?
"All God does is watch us and kill us when we get boring. We must never, ever be boring" - Chuck Palahniuk.

That's what I was going to say,100km is the limit so I heard.
Of course you're right about that,I mean they actually stayed for days in the space station,I was really sort of saying it tongue in cheek but really I've got as much chance of coming up with 300,000 as 20,000,000. so unfortunately I won't be doing either!

At least it's a start though, and I wish I could afford to blow 300,000 and do it!!!
If I could ever let go some of my addiction to these boards, I night actually make some dollars.

But maybe not $200k US. Then again, maybe so.

Hahahaha,very funny.
Unfortunately earning a few hundred dollars extra a week is not going to cut into 300 grand very well!

I mean WOW,I would certainly love to do it but I could afford some absolutely incredible holidays, more than just one, right here on the planet for that sort of money!

Unless I become a "multi-millionaire",or the price drops a fair bit,it's going to take a while I feel before I'M going!
