I thought sure the 2.5mm Martians would get some kind of a response....

Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yeild. - Tennyson

What a strange comment, coming from someone who has repeatedly demonstrated an unshakable belief in Bigfoot, alien abductions, that something other than human beings are responsible for crop circles, and every and any other whacko theory out there on the fringe circuit....strange, indeed!

Eddie, eddie, eddie, have you been smoking some of jims stash or something?
Where in the hell did you ever get the idea I believed in bigfoot, alien abductions, crop circles and etc? I beg you to show me one post that might make you think that. Do you forget who I am or something? Please check out my positions on such things. I am terribly offended to be lumped in the kook kingdom like that.
We need to talk about this soon. I thought you knew me better.

So it's a grave marker? I see...that makes all the difference.

(It's still a pointy rock, es.)
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yeild. - Tennyson

By the way, it's Cheops, not "Heops."

And tombstone, not "tumbstone."

But I think you know that already...
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yeild. - Tennyson

A tombstone? Interesting thought. There could even be a mummy shaped rock burried there.

crazy---The kooks and woo-woos in this forum can certainly give a rational thinker indigestion!

Sky---Rational thinking! That definitely excludes the closed-minded skeptics. A typical skeptic's mindset is as follows.

* If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, flies like a duck, looks like a duck, it's a moose.

* If its a solid metallic saucer-shaped object, if it's tracked on airborne and ground-based radar screens as such, if radar returns are corroborated visually by highly experienced commercial and military pilots, ATC personnel, radar operators and ground observers, then naturally, the UFO was the result of temperature inversion" eventhough a scientific report and other investigations have pointed scientific reasons why that was not possible. From a pseudoskeptic's point of view, who needs an old stinkin' scientific report anyway?!

* If Jupiter is in the western sky and the UFO was in the eastern part, then naturally, the UFO was Jupiter because it was in the opposite side of the sky from the real UFO. So what's the problem???

* If the UFO was as large as the moon and maneuvering to within 3000 meters of the observers, then naturally, it was the planet Venus, especially since Venus has been known to maneuver to within close proximity of aircraft and conduct right-angled maneuvers and given the fact that Venus was not scheduled to make an appearance on those days or nights anyway. No problem there!

* If the UFO maneuvered around a DSP satellite over 20,000 miles above the Earth's surface, so from a skeptic's standpoint, it was an air-breathing SR-71.

Rational thinking! Crazy, how could I have ever doubted you?!

Exactly right.

I was only attempting to correct his (mis)use of "Heops" instead of the popularized "Cheops"... and "tumbstone" for "tombstone."
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yeild. - Tennyson
