I'm not 100% sure, but anyone with a c-band satellite system should check out the secondary NASA-TV channel on AMC-6/5C. It seems that the (current?/past?) integrated sim of STS-114 is being covered as if it were a real mission, with the PAO commentator providing commentary!
Right now they are doing the RMS "boom" survey of the Orbiter. Cool stuff!!!

I watched some more after I posted and it is the STS-114 long sim. They even had a press conference (I'm trying to figure out if it was real reporters asking simulated questions, or simulated reporters asking real ones )
From what I listened to yesterday, it seems that Discovery suffered some debris hits going uphill so they're not sure yet if it's going to be safe to re-enter. The Station airlock has a problem so they're having to stage the EVAs out of the Shuttle airlock and there seems to be some kind of problem with Air-to-Ground channel #1.
Interesting stuff!

No, they didn't get it wrong in the Sim, I got it wrong in my head!

The simulated docking of Discovery to the ISS just occurred successfully over a simulation of Australia. However only 7 of the 8 latches on the docking ring engaged - fortunately this isn't a mission critical failure.

Hehehehe (simulated)

Unfortunately no sign of this feed on I701, however we are getting the umteenth repeat of that professional storyteller on the Mars Lander missions.

Would it kill them to throw a fixed camera in the OPF for a few hours in place of all these reruns?

P.S. I can handle as many reruns as they like of that NASA Video File showing the ET mating to the SRB's though. I think they might be assembling a rocketship in that there big shed! It's getting closer and I, for one, am starting to get nervously excited!

Who is this superhero? Henry, the mild-mannered janitor ... could be!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bring Back The Black!

A simulated Atlantis launching on a STS (Simulated Transportation Simulation) 300 rescue mission, only for it to be shot at by those evil Klingons (they're not real, their simu....) who drank too much Romulan Ale and thought the Shuttle was real?

Sod Return to Flight, time for Return to Reality.

Keep us all posted, NajaB - I'm on the edge of my simulated seat.

""Bloody heck, what next?""

Perhaps the Great Galactic Ghoul is vacationing with the Mission Sim Team this year?

Who is this superhero? Henry, the mild-mannered janitor ... could be!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bring Back The Black!

Na, he's been busy ensuring the UK's space program basically adds up to being repeated episodes of Battlestar Galactia on BBC 2
