If you do not have NASA TV on your cable/satellite system, I suggest doing the following (for the US)

Watch NASA TV online ( http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/index.html ).
Realize it is between 45 and 60 seconds behind the timeline.

If you have cable, (without knowing covereage in advance) I suggest Fox News. They seem to have covered it longer (commercial free) than CNN and MSNBC during launches, and they seem to keep their mouths shut more than the "experts" on the other channels mentioned. The Networks (CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, WB, etc) will not cover it; too many profitable programs on the air.

I will monitor C-SPAN, CSPAN 2,3 etc and other sources, but in the current election cycle, I doubt they will "waste" their time covering real science. They've shown no inclination to do so.

Will also look at NGEO, SCI channel, etc...

They advantage of all these cable/sat sources is that they are only a few seconds behind reality, rather than more than 45 seconds.
However after the news networks end coverage it's, it's nice to have NASA TV online so you can follow if for another few dozen minutes... and of course watch all the replays.

But the Krell forgot one thing John. Monsters. Monsters from the Id.

I really, really, really, really miss the "first unread post" function
