ISS May 09,2009 - Florida

Taken with a k2000 55mm lens at f/8.0 ISO 800 while leisurely observing. Am surprised at the photo all things considered.

It's a great photo. Just doesn't look like ISS. There is clearly detail in the image, but it doesn't look like ISS at all? It looks like a butterfly.

Are you sure ISS is not the dot on the lower left corner, and you also managed to capture a nighttime butterfly in the same frame?

Did you attach the camera on a telescope? Without telescope ISS does not reveal hardly any features from 330 kilometers distance, which is the nearest it can go by. It should look simply as a dot to a camera without telescope or extreme telephoto lens.
