Mars Rising Does it contain accurate science?

I've been watching this series on the Science Channel and I believe it has been as accurate a scenario on the possibilities that will be encountered during a manned Mars mission as has been produced. It has presented the dangers that will probably present themselves in a fair and realistic manner without being negative towards going forward with the plan. I don't get the Science Channel, though I do get the Discovery Channel. Have you seen any advertising for when this might be broadcast on the Discovery Channel? How about the program "Race to Mars"?

I totally forgot that it was on last night. Ah well. Episode 6 will be on over the weekend.<br /><br />I've enjoyed the series. The science seems pretty sound. Although, in a way, it's a lot like many of the other space shows on the Science Channel.<br /><br />They tend to repackage old material and integrate it into "new" shows.<br /><br />Overall, I'd say it's certainly worth watching. I can think of a gazillion worse ways to spend an hour. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <em>"2012.. Year of the Dragon!! Get on the Dragon Wagon!".</em> </div>
