The information will facilitate acquisition planning for future procurements. The primary purpose of this RFI is to collect information on key parameters that would help NASA refine and mature the acquisition plan for procuring safe, cost effective, and reliable ISS logistics re-supply services. The information will assist in Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) Phase 2 planning. WOW, this seems to have a different flavor than the origional COTS.<br /><br />I can see a segmented industry here. Ie launchers, orbital space craft. That is companies specializing in major parts. <br /><br />It would be good if ULA, SeaLaunch, Ariane, and the like would be used for launch services but maybe their prices are too high and should be driven down. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <p> </p><p><font color="#0000ff"><em>"SCE to AUX" - John Aaron, curiosity pays off</em></font></p> </div>
