Progress M03-M deorbiting and drowning is planned to be carried out on April 27. The space cargo vehicle undocked from the International Space Station on April 22.
Scheduled Progress M03-M deorbiting operations include activation of the braking thrusters at 22:05 Moscow time, following the commands from the MCC. The retro-burn will last 168,6 sec, providing the Progress with braking thrust of 82,3 mps.
Falling down of the Progress fragments into the Pacific is expected at 22.50 Moscow time. Fall center geographical coordinates are: 42º51’ southern latitude, 141º 26’ western longitude (southern area of the Pacific ocean).
Progress was flying autonomously since April 22. During this autonomous mission, Radar-Progress technical experiment is to be carried out. The experiment is aimed at defining density, sizes and reflectivity of the ionosphere environment around the vehicle, which is caused by operations of the Progress` liquid propellant engines. TsNIIMASh, Korolev, is the curator of Radar- Progress.
