the relationship between lister and Rimmer is quite Humorus.

"why did you bring HIM back Holly?"
"of all the people you knew on the ship, you knew him best"
"But why HIM?"
"between you two you exchanged 14 million words"
"7 million of them was me telling him to smeg off, and the other 7 million was him putting me on report for telling him to smeg off"
"who else would you want me to bring back?"
"anyone! even Headbanger Harras would have been better than him, sure he was a drug crazed transvestite, but at least we could have gone dancing"
Todays speciality is trout á la créme, enjoy your meal.

Series 7 Region II DVD is out soon. (Starts with Tikka to ride, JFK conspiracy nuts should watch that one). Probably the last good series IMO.
"All God does is watch us and kill us when we get boring. Lister had awoken to find that he was wearing nothing more than a pair of waders, a yellow crinoline dress, and had a passport in the name of "Emily Birkenstock."

Differential Diagnosis: "I am both amused and annoyed that you think I should be less stubborn than you are."

Rimmer once attended a Inspection Parade in nothing but Mock leather driving gloves, and a pair of blue swimming goggles. he then attacked two superior officers beleiving them to be Garaffs who were armed and dangerus.

In reply to:

I wanna watch that! Where could I get it from?

It's available on VHS in PAL and NTSC formats, and they might have the whole series out on DVD as well know; last time I paid attention they were up to Season 5. There are eight seasons altogether; in my opinion, the first six are the best, seven's okay, and eight is pretty hit-or-miss, although there are good ones in each season.

In the spirit of the thread, some Red Dwarf quotes:

"Step up to red alert."
"Sir, are you sure? It does mean changing the bulb."

"We're a real Mickey Mouse operation, aren't we?"
"Mickey Mouse? We ain't even Betty Boop!"

"What' that on the floor? Looks like writing. P, S, I, R, E, N, S. Psirens."
"Poor devil seems to have written it in his death throes using his own blood and part of his own intestinal tract."
"What I don't understand is why he went to all the trouble of using one of his own kidneys as a full stop."
"I don't think he meant to do that. I think it just . . . plopped out."
"Who would do such a thing?"
"Someone who badly needed a pen."

{after learning that the love of his life Christie Kochanski, has been reduced to a white powder after three million years in deep space}
"Oh heck, we were going to move to Fiji together. She was going to help me."
"Well, she won't be any use to you now. Not unless it snows and you need something to grit the path with."

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly . . . timey wimey . . . stuff." -- The Tenth Doctor, "Blink"

I wish! I have a friend who lives in Des Moines, though. I'm very jealous. Iowa PBS gets fantastic programming.

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly . . . timey wimey . . . stuff." -- The Tenth Doctor, "Blink"

Dr. Who and Red Dwarf have run for years, they run them all, and then repeat.

Prior to DSS, my reception of IPTV was very fuzzy, mostly listened to Red Dwarf, now with DSS, I get to see it too.

I had seen most of the Dr. Who's on Nebraska, Illinois and Wiscosin public TV.

IIRC, Wisconsin showed Blakes Seven too.

TPTB went to Dallas and all I got was Plucked !!

So many people, so few recipes !!

Let's clean up this stinkhole !!
