Russia to send spacecraft to knock Apophis off course?

I like it. Apophis is a chance to be the best space station by orbiting around the Earth or the Moon

It's already orbiting the sun, that should be good enough. We can still implant some probes and equipment
on it, but drastically changing its orbit so that it goes around earth is what I think the people do not have the
energy for. It's not a 2 meter rock moving faster than earth, it is 200 meters, right?


The Ares 1 rocket is not even half as tall as as Apophis (Ares 1 Rocket=less than 100 meters):

And the 200 meter Apophis is moving faster than the Earth.

I like it orbiting around Earth as our second moon also! Lets vote on it! LOL!

It would be a hell of a counter-weight for a space elevator!

Is it too heavy for that? How far out would the orbit have to be? Many questions to ask here????? BTW I think my method of capture with the solar powered rail gun would be the best option.
