Just read the article, and wondering how space would affect conception? <br /><br />"space is the closest thing to being in the womb" - Gattaca<br /><br />Obviously gravity isn't the issue because the embryo is weightless, are they talking about radiation in the article?

I heard it would be impossible. Zero G makes it impossible to get it up. Trying to do it while skydiving or on the Vomit Comet would be like doing it in space.

"Why would that be? <br />Gravity does not affect hydraulics"<br /><br />Simple, with no gravity, blood that usually hangs out in the lower abdomen rises towards the head and upper extremities. That and the heart works less and becomes weaker in zero G.
