We've all seen many, many weapons in sci-fi movies throughout all our lives. From Han Solo's trusty blaster to the skeletonizing ray gun of the invaders from Venus.

Which, of all the fire arms and fire power ever imagined, is the coolest?

Which would look the best hanging over the fire place in the executive boardroom at Space Dot Coms Galactic Headquarters?

Which would you most like to have?

TPTB went to Dallas and all I got was Plucked !!

So many people, so few recipes !!

Let's clean up this stinkhole !!

World Devestator, as seen in Star wars EU....
http://starwars.wikicities.com/wiki/World_Devastator
In the event of a full scale nuclear war or NEO impact event, there are two categories of underground shelters available to the public, distinguished by depth underground: bunkers and graves...

Which, of all the fire arms and fire power ever imagined, is the coolest? The original Buck Rodgers 50's hand blaster !

Which would look the best hanging over the fire place in the executive boardroom at Space Dot Coms Galactic Headquarters? The "Stubb gun" from Judge Dredd "Apocalipse War" that Judge Souster went into the record books with.

Which would you most like to have?

AHA. The Tnuctip "Conversion Weapon" with out a doubt, had any other hand weapon beat, AND any ship or deathstar weapon also, except for the "User must be able to teleport 20 lightyears away, OR die firing" aspect .

When they start building up on themselves they get really cool...What you saw was a bad comic pic....I'll find another better one
In the event of a full scale nuclear war or NEO impact event, there are two categories of underground shelters available to the public, distinguished by depth underground: bunkers and graves...

I really liked that rig Ripley used in Aliens. Lots of fire power there for a personal assault weapon.

I also liked that personal assault weapon the bad guy sold the growly guys in ah, ah, that one with the flying taxicab and the very hot little red-head...ah, ah, she saved the world, uh, damn, what was that one?

Yes, yes, yes. Leeloo.
If I could morph, I'd be her!
My mom's whole family were redheads. Don't know why it had to skip me...
I know what you mean about CHris Tucker - but see, that's the thing. You were supposed to hate him!
And that's why I loved him! He was so hateable!
He helped out tho, as he was able.

Not like Major Burns, the #1 most detestible character of the TV screen. I can't remember him ever being helpful unless he was bribed or tricked. But I must admit I loved him too; because he was a foil and added to the script so much. But still, I couldn't stand the guy. And that Hotlips went for him? That was just disgusting!
off track here aren't I...

That little jobber from MIB was really cool too...

The original Star Trek phasers were the best in their day...

Save energy: be apathetic.
unknown

Ah..Farscape.
How did we miss that one when we were talking about the best SciFi ships?

whee..whee..I'm a planet...be happy for me!

I would rather be ashes than dust!
I would rather be a superb meteor,
every atom of me in magnificent glow,
than a sleepy and permanent planet.
Jack London.

IMO Moya was rather dull a ship (except for that it was alive and had a child of course ) but the PK destroyers looked cool.

Congrats for becoming a planet. Watch out for death stars, world devastators and wormholes

...and Vorlon planet killers!

The device (not specifically named IIRC) that transmitted ships power (Enterprise) against the Talosian elevator door in the episodes Cage and Menagerie was way cool ,but would not 'hang' well over a fire place.

The space family Robinson's laser rifles would.

So to the bazookoids from Red Dwarf.

TPTB went to Dallas and all I got was Plucked !!

So many people, so few recipes !!

Let's clean up this stinkhole !!

Attacking an active wormhole weapon is futile ... as pretty much everything else

that hard to find alien gun in the game Fallout. unlimited ammo and the melting disintegration of your opponents just looked cool.

The only laws of matter are those which our minds must fabricate, and the only laws of mind are fabricated for it by matter.
--- James Clerk Maxwell

And, ironically, some of the worst looking futurisitic weapons ever, are the 'first generation' phasers from those same episodes, Cage and Menagerie.

Really, the 'clunkiness' rating of those things is staggering.

TPTB went to Dallas and all I got was Plucked !!

So many people, so few recipes !!

Let's clean up this stinkhole !!

How about the Lexx?

A clergyman is one who feels himself called upon to live without working at the expense of the rascals who work to live. Voltaire (1694-1778)

Lexx was quite cool, as was Ava Haberman. But I think if I had any weapon system at my disposal, it'd be a BattleMech.
