Luckily this is almost perfect time to watch the launch for me. It is 11:39 Finnish time when Enveavour should go up.

Unfortunately, I'm up this morning watching a snowstorm, which means I'll be exhausted in 24 hours, so will need help :)

Naah, but thanx. I'll set the alarm on my cellphone, it should do the job :)

Not a lot of snow expected here (6 in, 15 cm), but at my elderly mom's, the total could exceed a meter! So I'm monitoring her location as well for morning advice.

Ironically, she moved south for 2 reasons...less snow (her total will now be > 50 inches for the season vs 20 here) and lower (i.e. MUCH) lower taxes.

Win some, lose some.

At least the weather at KSC should still be very good tomorrow morning...

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.ph ... it=0&lg=en

"Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 43. West northwest wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 60. North northwest wind around 10 mph. "

While the winds should be high in the evening, they should diminish into the acceptable range by early morning...

From SDC:

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – A ground equipment glitch has slightly delayed the planned start of fueling operations for the space shuttle Endeavour as NASA counts down toward a predawn Sunday launch at 4:39 a.m. EST (0939 GMT). You can watch the action live on NASA TV.

A problem with a cabin pressure regulator on the gantry structure at Endeavour’s seaside Launch Pad 39A forced NASA to send a repair team out to the launch-ready shuttle. The team has already performed the fix and is returning to the Launch Control Center here at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

The glitch has delayed Endeavour’s fueling operations by about 45 minutes or so, NASA launch commentator George Diller said.

Usually, sea in the morning is calm, flat. I think it has something to do with the heat exchange between the sea and land.
