Rigel has a polar behaviour, maybe this one. Electric jets shoot out 10 degrees from each pole all the way to Earth orbit. A key falling into one would accelerate out near c. It does have multiple heliopauses for disasters.
Io has vapour pressure of some sort too. It should be possible to glide sensors surveys and racers continuously in its atmosphere survivably.
