After reading, the above, I recalled from long, long ago the cadence of a Gregorian chant that beseeches protection for a list sundry dangers and ills people face. The participants repetitively chanted in answer "Ora pro nobis". I do hope that the National Space Council while political in nature stays off that kind of list and focuses wholeheartedly upon Space.
