lol. Yes, there is much in it to think on.

The best movies in the world, are made by New Zealanders. The best comics, by British. The best food, the French and the Belgiums fight it out. The best (Almost all the best, anyway) rock bands are British. The best Engineers, Scots.
I think we have to tip the Porn Americas way though. Some of the German stuff , while interesting , is souless and mechanical!.

Porn? "Watchmen" is a graphic novel. It's got some nudity, but I wouldn't call it porn, not by any stretch of the imagination.

I have grave doubts that it can be successfully made into a movie. The inestimable Terry Gilliam, possibly the best choice ever to direct it, attempted it. He surrendered, concluding that there was simply too much material to fit it into a movie and still do justice to it. I think he was right to do so.

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly . . . timey wimey . . . stuff." -- The Tenth Doctor, "Blink"

No no, not in the movie. I was drunk and talking about other than thread specific items my dearest Mod. *Grovels at Her feet, wriggling for forgive-ness like a particularlly un-cute puppy*

I agree with you about Gilliam being the best attempt and ALSO right to give up.

I think this movie is going to be lame, OR, entirely not "Watchmen".
