Ok, here is what I think happened: 1)Cindy (grandmother) came home early, and discovered Casey ((daughter) eating a freshly cajun fried  Caylee. 2)Cindy helped clean up mess, and went with Casey into everglades with gas cans and incinerated remains.  They failed to notice 'meat juice' from infants corpse leaking from the cooler, and that is the source of the corpse smell Cindy accidently blurted out to cops (she had not practiced the 'story' enough yet, and made a mistake). 3) Cindy has since gone insane (OK, more insane)  4)Casey is not quite insane enough to admit, whjile in jail, she ate her kid.    I also note, Caylee's daddy remains missing, and may have been eaten too.    <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> TPTB went to Dallas and all I got was Plucked !!So many people, so few recipes !!Let's clean up this stinkhole !! </div>

(I am not making this up) Kimberly Guilfoyle (Fox News legal commentator) just strongly encouraged that Casey's family members be seriously considered as accessories after the fact, at least!  While not surprising to me, just more signs the 'back channels' for the reporters are intimating some rather disturbing turns in the case and we might be seeing some dramatic expansion of the case. Seems like some lab tests are due any day now . . .        <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> TPTB went to Dallas and all I got was Plucked !!So many people, so few recipes !!Let's clean up this stinkhole !! </div>

Posted by coeptus</DIV>Well, I had to check suspicions on something on chloroform before I made my post.  So, that search is in there, somewhere..  It's referrenced by this thread and that's why I looked.The thing is, for a baby like that, chloroform wouldn't be necessary at all.  Heck, a couple of doses of benadryl would probably do it.  I dunno, maybe she's not that smart.The point on the solvents was that maybe she used some solvent based cleaners in the trunk that may have either formed chloroform in small amounts when reacting with other products OR caused a false hit.  I don't know what detection methods they used so can't speak knowledgably regarding the possibility of a false hit. Did they ever find the mystery "baby sitter" that she said she left the baby with?The whole "Chloroform" in the trunk with probable evidence of a decaying body doesn't make sense.  You could certainly OD someone on chloroform if used improperly and that would be easy to do with a baby that weighs next to nothing.  But, why leave it in the trunk afterwards or why use chloroform on a baby in the first place?(I have heard of mothers going crazy with the "Screaming Baby" syndrome.  I suppose she could have been looking for some quick-fix for such a thing and ended up OD'ing her baby THEN sticking her in the trunk.  But, that doesn't make a lot of sense either.  Then again, if she was bonkers to begin with, or just really stupid, I shouldn't expect rational behavior.) <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> I put on my robe and wizard hat... </div>

Seen many cases where 'mom' KO'ed the kids with booze or meds of various types; pain killers, cough syrups (alcohol based), Benadryl etc. etc. so they could go out partying.  Can't say I've seen one die from it, but OD - you betcha.Crazy b**** needs to be charged with murder then wood-chipper'ed.  <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>

Casey might just have been ignorant of the Benadryl and Nyquil tricks. (Which is weird because I thought EVERYBODY knew that.) Or perhaps Caylee had built up a tolerance to the Benadryl and/or Nyquil and Casey had to switch her over to something else. I note Casey's mother, Cindy, who is under an increasing amoungt of suspicion by others and myself, is a nurse and I gotta ask, would she have acces to chloroform ?? Is any missing from her employer ?? I was thinking accessory after the fact, but, if that lead is plausible, we have a mother/daughter tag team murder scenario.  (and note, Cindy does not need to have had prior knowledge of Casey's plans to murder Caylee, she just has to have participated in an underlying crime)     <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> If not for bad Pluck, I'd have no Pluck at all . . . Is it just because her father is an ex-cop?At the least, she could have been bound over for trial on the obstruction charges and charged with murder later. Posted by docm</DIV>That's why I thought it may be a reaction from cleaning products used in the trunk.  The product would have a bunch of unusuable junk and a small amount of chloroform.  But, it may be enough to show up on a chem analysis of the trunk's contents.  Various "ols" are used in some carpet cleaning products and hefty solvent based spot removers.  Chlorine bearing products are a no-brainer; she (or someone) could have used them to clean hard surfaces or even tried to mix in bleach to kill odor causing bacteria feeding off of organic residue. The only reason I bring that up is because using chloroform on a baby doesn't make much sense as there would be easier OTC methods to render a baby unconscious.  Why render it unconscious anyway in the first place?  It was her baby and she could have transported it anywhere without suspicion.
