At the center of galaxies are black holes witch anchor all the matter to that position. In about 3 billion years the andromeda and the milky way are gonna collide....

What happens to the supermassive black holes at the center of the galaxies? Do they combine into one, or do they orbit each other? Wouldnt the merging of two of the most extreme objects in the universe cause quite a stir... one that we would be able to detect?
