I'm sick of the TCW and I'm sick of arcs. I want one-episode stories.

^ The next 2 episodes after friday's vulcan one are singles. Followed by another 3 parter, then more singles and then 2 more 3 parters and then the finale.

yes..single episodes are more convenient but think about it. this would have been an improvement from your point of view as compared with the previous season where almost all episodes are linked.
the 3 episode thing is good for the series as it allows them to keep the viewer spellbound enough to watch the next one. this keeps the series viewership locked and of course, the continuation of the series, so I'm not complaining. the current episodes are ok with enough twists and turns. I only hope that the creative team that was responsible for the few truly great episodes of STTNG are still present for Enterprise...heh heh

To Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before...

Live Long and Prosper

If they have a story that won't fit in one hour, then they should change the show to a 3-hour episode once a month which of course means that they're making TV-movies.

I like the story arcs. I always thought that self contained episodes felt a little bit disconnected and shallow.

I liked how the Enterprise ripped off the engine pylon in the previous arc although I can't imagine why the ships needed to be close enough to use it. Were they trying to dock?

^ So the klingons couldnt blow up enterprises or fire torpedos at it. The explosion would destroy the klingon ship too, thats why they fire their beams at the grapplers so they can escape, pull back then attack full on.

I was glad to see T'Pol cured of her incurable disease. Also, glad to lose hubby. I'm sure Trip will be pleased too. And losing the "High Command" -- no big loss -- it's full of liars anyway.

What this universe really needs is a strong central organization to unite worlds -- a Federation perhaps, eh?

I think this series is getting back to the spirit of the original series where the ship goes out and is pretty much on its own. Sure, you can get nanny orders from back home but feel free to ignore them if you really have a few worlds to save first.

Hold the phone. I'm not going to forget about the original Star Trek episode where non-warp capable Romulins with WMD shot up a few border outposts. That episode said that nobody had ever seen a Romulin when the humans faught a war with them because the ships didn't have, uh, television. Spock was equally surprised when he saw the pointed ears on the big screen. In fact, he registered a 30 degree eyebrow raise ont hat one.

So how about it?

Obviously, this Romulan sneaked in and was only in communication with Mr. Administrator who might actually have been a Romulan himself for all we know. The fact that this Romulan was sneaking around means that nobody knew he was there.

Yes. An original way to tell a different kind of Vulcan story and then wrap it up nice to maintain continuity.

I hate enterprise so much. I wish they would just end it now and save us the torture.

Don't watch it. I love the show. There's so much crap on TV nowadays. Enterprise is so refreshing. I look forward to every new episode.

The only T.V. shows that I really make note of are Enterprise, and South Park. I don't know when any other shows come on. I'm looking forward to Battlestar Galactica, but other than that, I don't watch much of anything when I'm at home.

When the show started, I wasn't too thrilled with their pick for Archer. I could only see him in the role of that Quantum Leap show. But now I only see him in this role. I think he does a great job.

It would be nice if they did some sicence fiction. Character development and space opera get old. Just use the characters to do a science fiction plots every now and then. The science fiction plot density seems to go down with time.

I gotta say I like Enterprise too. It sure beats the heck out of Survivor or all those other reality shows.

Although, I really think this will be the last season for Enterprise. I think we won't see any new Treks for some time, if at all.

To that I add this comment:

The worst STNG episode was the first one. That "Farpoint Station" 2-parter. Sucked big time. The series got better after that and most were absolutely terrific and could have been better without Polaski and Boy Wonder.

I am also really enjoying this season's episodes of Enterprise. Talking about ST:TNG I really didn't mind Wesley Crusher, but Dr Polaski sucked. I was so happy they sent her packing.
Don't let your sig line incite a gay thread ;>)

Probably because she saw the "Farpoint" episode and didn't want her career wrecked.
