An intelligent lifeform using the transit method on another world, would definitely make the earth a 'world of interest.' Further analysis using micro imaging would reveal the composition of our atmosphere, vaulting us to important status.

With developing technologies using the transit method, they may detect moons on other worlds. This is important as an alien species would not only detect our moon, but could detect a spacecraft in orbit, such as the ISS.

Funny that they don't say anything about radio emissions. Wouldn't Earth be bright across a wide electromagnetic spectrum, in a way that would demand explanation?
