Hey, rlb2, nice to hear from you. Hope you get everything moved safely. Hurry back.

Done moving most stuff, good to be back. I see you were busy. You must put a lot of time in putting the jigsaw puzzle together to come up with your panoramic views...

I lost some of my larger images because of changing internet providers....I will try to re-enter my old images into a page from my new provider.

Here are some new ones...

2P169684858L2M1
Ron Bennett

It has such a familiar look and feel to it. We are meant to be there, a home just waiting for us to open the door and move in. There are no hardships to overcome that we can't, and nothing compared to the other worlds out there. I really want to see us go in my lifetime...

rlb2: "I see you were busy. You must put a lot of time in putting the jigsaw puzzle together to come up with your panoramic views..."

Good to see you back. Maybe somebody can keep this thread alive. I have been way too busy with my job. Luckily, I've got a 3-day weekend coming up and maybe I can get something done (around the fishing trip and watching the US play England ).

Yes, the panoramic views are time-consuming to put together. Don't know if it's worth the effort. I could just post the individual images and be done with it, but I kinda like making desktops out of the larger images. Then I let my family oohh and aahh over them .

I really liked that sunset image...inspired me enough to see what I could do. This one uses L2, L5 and L7 filters. Warning: some retouching has been performed.

(1024x1024, 72kb)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical. You guys deserve a medal. Thank you for bringing Mars into my living room. I can spend hours and hours just looking through these images while dreaming of a not so distant future.
"The choice is the Universe, or nothing ... " - H.G Wells
