Intelligent aliens will soon have a space here on Earth where they can share how they made it through their technological adolescence.

Could it be that the reason we have not encountered any aliens or their artifacts is that there is actually no way to travel between stars? It is surely possible that the physics governing the universe do not provide any means of circumventing the light speed limit on interstellar travel however advanced a race's science becomes.
