And his documentaries are full of half truths and, misdirections, and flat out lies. The moon hoax theory has no ground to stand on at all. It has been thouroughly debunked many times over. This leads me to believe that proponents of this theory want to believe it was hoaxed, and I'm not sure why.
It's been discussed in this voluminous thread before. Many think--including me--that the sincere hoaxers just cannot accept that humans could achieve something so fantastic and astounding as travelling to another world.
You know, it's not just that we went to the Moon, it's that we went to
somewhere else that wasn't Earth. If we had no Moon, and just went out 200,000 or so miles and came back, it just wouldn't have been the same. Once we landed on the Moon, it became a
place in the human collective consciousness, rather than just a beautiful object in the sky.
I think that's all part of the reason for the deniers. They just don't believe that man could do such a thing. (Funny thing is, some of them are the same people who think extra-terrestrial intelligences are visiting us every other Saturday.)
