I hope I'm excluding stuff we've already posted extensively about, excluding Scanner Darkly since there was no trailer available when last discussed.

Included is anything with a remote interest for genre fans. More to follow.

And I can't begin to describe how weird it is to hear the standard BS Hollywood voice-over for Wallace And Gromit!

http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony/2046.html

http://www.apple.com/trailers/warner_independent_pictures/a_scanner_darkly.html

http://www.apple.com/trailers/disney/thechroniclesofnarnia-fte2.html

http://www.apple.com/trailers/disney/thechroniclesofnarnia/

http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/da_vinci_code/large.html

http://www.apple.com/trailers/fox_searchlight/night_watch/

http://www.apple.com/trailers/dreamworks/wallace_and_gromit/

http://www.themoviebox.net/movies/2004/DEFGH/Five-Children-and-It/trailer-page.html

http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/charliechocolatefactory/

I'm intrigued by this thriller, has an interest for pretty much everyone here I think...

</safety_wrapper

I wish I could remember
But my selective memory
Won't let me - Mark Oliver Everett

I love the look of the Charlie and the Chocolate factory, Johnny Depp looks brillent.

I actually saw Gene Wilder at a book signing in Oxford about a month ago, I didn't cue up and met him though (Didn't want his book)
"All God does is watch us and kill us when we get boring. I'm looking forward to The New World. I really enjoyed The Thin Red Line by the same director. Thanks for the links Hobbes! Chronicles of Narnia? I'm waiting for part three in the Chronicles of Riddick series!

( BTW Flynn, yes, Depp looks to be right on target as Wonka )

Indeed, although Malick in Thin Red Line puts one foot ever so slightly wrong it is an otherwise perfect film. That was the few moments of sentimentality which unaccountably marred the sections 'back home.' A good friend of mine whose opinion I respect disagrees with me on this film and only refers to it as The Long Long Lonnnnng Red Line.

Not forgetting Badlands and Days Of Heaven.

I wish I could remember
But my selective memory
Won't let me - Mark Oliver Everett

That was the few moments of sentimentality which unaccountably marred the sections 'back home.'

If I remember correctly, the scenes were memories of home of the character played by 'Jesus' , so that would explain their sentimentality, although I thought they were more dreamlike, than sentimental.

Mostly the images of the woman on the swing. What the hell was that about? It's a few years since I saw it but that lodged in my memory as hugely detracting to the emotional truth of the thing. It just didn't ring true at all, whether memories or not.

I wish I could remember
But my selective memory
Won't let me - Mark Oliver Everett

Some of those movies look pretty cool. I can't imagine someone better than Tim Burton to direct Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The Red Eye movie looks interesting also Night Watch (can you tell that I like horror movies ). 2046, I saw In The Mood For Love from the same director, pretty good although slow, I think we can expect something better now.

Rhodan

I agree, The Thin Red Line is a beautiful movie. The photography and the music is incredible. Really nicely done.
