Roswell UFO crash: What is the truth behind the 'flying saucer' incident?

Catastrophe

"Science begets knowledge, opinion ignorance.
For those interested in magazine articles (Sorry it's so old Helio) there is coverage in:
All About Space, Issue 116, May 2021 entitles The Truth about the Roswell Files.

"Roswell is a town that will be forever linked to one of the greatest mysteries of all time, and we may never truly reach a consensus on the truth that is out there."

In fairness, I have to state that I also take "Astronomy" and "Astronomy Now".

Cat :)

For me, weather balloon debris seems most probable. Likewise, some military aircraft of the time had doped canvas over metal or wood as control surfaces and were being flown via radio control. E.G.: Radar decoys akin to the paratrooper puppets used in WWII. Crashes seem logical. Lastly, at the time period of the Roswell incident, both the military and intelligence services were engaged in "spoofing". Since no LGM's have shown up to demand "take me to your leader", I think that Roswell experienced a mundane, Earth bound event which is a continuing good money maker.
