The new spending plan, which will run from 2006-2015, includes provisions for a new spacecraft Kliper, two new launching pads and the sending of a probe to one of two moons orbiting the planet Mars. Russia also intends to double the number of its satellites in orbit to 70 by 2015 for communication, weather and research purposes. In 2006, the Russian state plans to spend 23 billion rubles, an increase of 4.7 billion compared with this year.<br /><br />____________________________________<br /><br />Note from the copier. It says nothing about new ISS modules or the ISS in general. Also please note the following things, money promised by Moscow was often nothing more then a promise, only 25% was actually delivered. And presumably the russian military space budget will be as large as its civilian side.
