Hello everyone. Sorry if these have been posted before - but I'd like to have some thoughts on these videos. It's always interesting to listen to other peoples perspectives.

I'm not a professional when it comes to space, but I find it all very interesting. These videos recently caught my interest

Videos:

Is everything in these videos trash - or are there actually any interesting points made? All Images / Videos / Voice communication seem to be from NASA archives.

Hi Origin, any chance you could be a little briefer and more to the point, please?

I've seen some of these on Tv. A show named the Nasa Files. Some are from the archives, but I can't account for most of them. They have videos from the apollo mission also. They seem to have the same type of objects.

After one week I was hoping for some nice thoughts on these things, but I guess people don't find it interesting (;

No they are interesting, just to people with an open-mind. It would be a lot more difficult to find a terrestial solution to these.

It is not that they are not interesting, the problem is they are silly.

Well what exactly makes them silly?

The claims that are made.

Lensflares, orbital debris, cosmic ray hits... heck, anything and everything that a 7 year old couldn't identify is, suddenly, "ZOMGZ ITZ ALIENZ!!!"

The claims are ridiculous. Half of what I saw has been thoroughly explained before. The very "few" truly unidentified anomalies are within reasonable limits of mundane causes.

The vids are interesting but, not worth watching for 10 minutes each or whatever. The simple fact is that it's just someone pointing at pictures and screaming "Woo" when, the simple most straightforward answer is usually "It's a rock."

I liked the techno sounding music on the first one. :)

Most of the clips didn't look like anything too special. There were a couple that were intriguing, but not knowing if these were edited or modified in some way, they just raise more questions than answers as usual.

I agree with origin - not good :D Anyone that thinks they have some amazing proof of ET, then feels the need to add bloody awful music to it is a lost cause (sorry dm4b)!

One of the better vids is this one...

...at least it tries to be a bit more mature about the subject.

Wow mark. That documentary was excellent. Thanks so much for showing me.

MUCH better than the videos I found. Pretty cool - we are not alone.

I hope Moon blow tomorrow won't upset whatever these things are.

I agree that the video posted by mark_d_s is excellent.

Another solid UFO case is the Belgium Triangle sightings. The Belgium government had a press conference to share their findings with the public. I can't imagine the US government ever doing that!

There are several videos on youtube that cover the Belgium sightings. This seems to be a very credible case.

AKA "The Belgian Flap."

IMO, there are some interesting bits and pieces in the Belgian Flap. However, there are a lot of things that go unnoticed and unmentioned. When the information was released, there were several glaring inconsistencies that were glossed over. "Eyewitness" reports that conflicted, system maintenance due to failure reports (fighter), etc.

However, even with all that it does remain "interesting." It reminds me of the USSR Foxbat overflights of Israel and Iran in the 70s. Back then, they had nothing which would catch a Foxbat (recon version). The best they could do is launch flight after flight, hoping to get lucky. At that time, Iran sent repeated requests/demands to the United States for upgraded fighter support. (Which leads to my conclusion that their formal report to the CIA on UFOs was a tweak to try to get some response out of the USA on the fighter subject.) But, I digress...

The Belgian Flap remains "interesting." But, it begs the question "Why?" While some maintain the flight characteristics of the objects sighted are outside our capabilities, that conclusion is taken from data that is suspect. (Faulty instrumentation and common malfunctions.) The eyewitness reports aren't solid enough for me. I suspect they saw "something" but I can't say it was a UFO=ET.

Hi Alx09, I can now say that all those videos you posted should be viewed with much suspicion, because of something that came up in a thread that I started here:

viewtopic.php?f=17&t=20715&start=0

Those videos were all posted on YT by LunaCognita, who seems to be a purveyor of BS. In the above thread I linked, another video from LunaCognita was posted from Disclose.tv ...

http://www.disclose.tv/action/viewvideo ... _T__truth/

At 0235 in that video, a quote is given by Buzz Adrin from the book "First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong," in which he says the tv transmissions were "scripted," with "the exact words written down on little cards stuck in the panel in front of us."

The actual entry, from page 425 of that book is as follows - and thanks to Aussiebloke and JonClarke for pointing this out:

... For thirty six minutes the astronauts put on a show. The model of spontenaity, Collins disavowed the use of cue cards, Aldrin did a few zero-g push-ups, and Neil even stood on his head, (Collins: "Neil's standing on his head again. He's trying to make me nervous.") Head chef Collins also demonstrated how to make chicken stew whern travelling at a speed of 4,400 feet per second. Neil relates that most of the telecast seemed improvised but Aldrin notes that "we went to great lengths" to make it look that way. "The fact is they were carefully planned in advanceand for me the exact words were written down on little cards stuck onto the panel in front of us." Neil used no written aids, having thought through what he wanted to do and say only shortly before the TV transmission ...

I asked a question in the other thread about the Buzz Aldrin quote and today, Aussiebloke and JonClarke (who had copies of the book in front of them) posted to say that Aldrin was referring to a 36 minute show they put on, whilst in transit to the moon, to entertain the public.

LunaCognita chose to take the quote totally out of context, to make it appear that everything said by the crew of Apollo 11 in the entire mission was scripted. So on the basis of that, I'm not confident we can trust the accuracy of all his/her other videos!
