You know, bigbrain, I been thinking about what you've posted here all afternoon. <br /><br />If you’re truly serious about what you’ve posted, I feel sorry for you. <br /><br />I really do.<br /><br />Not because you’ve chosen to turn your back the wealth of readily available information and documentation that prove, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that we have made our first, tentative steps into space…and not because in an age of instant and nearly unlimited access to that information, you’ve chosen to remain uneducated and uninformed.<br /><br />It’s because you’ll never be able to appreciate the picture posted below, which was taken probe Voyager 1 on February 14, 1990, as it entered the outer fringes of our solar system. The on board camera was turned and took a picture of Planet Earth from a distance of 6.4 billion kilometers (4 billion miles). We’re just a tiny point of light that takes up .012 of a pixel, dwarfed by the vastness of space….a Pale Blue Dot.<br /><br />It’s because you’ll never be able to appreciate – or understand - these words, written by Carl Sagan, to accompany that photo:<br /><br /><font color="yellow">Look again at that dot.
