Ancients had it right Earth is the centre of all

Then along came someone & said the sun is the centre of our solar system, I know not quite the same but has led to corrupted thinking. No way! Earth is, Einstein said so. Why then do we insist in calculating orbits etc wrt the sun. The only correct thing left over from the Ancients is the length of a day, being the time the sun takes to circle the earth once. <br />Little anomalies have crept in to some scientific measurements maybe 'cos of this error i.e. unexpected speed increase by slingshot around earth & far probe anomalies.

If Eistein said that, he was likely not yet an adult, or drunk, or teasing, or all of the above. The theory of relativity allows us to reference everything to the Earth, but it also allows us to reference to any other body. Neil
