I heard the shuttle is slated for retirement in 2010?<br />Is it worth the risk to keep it flying until then? Or am I falling for the media's hype?

it is likely that more flights to finish the iss will into 2010 then these planed 3 for there retirement or will nasa bulk up on the missions before the retirement year?
