You're making an assumption. Plus it's a cartoon. <br /><br />If typical laws and logic applied then lasers couldn't be shot out of his eyes in the first place.

One could imagine a beam-splitter type of arrangement, and that Zoks eye function worked in a different band than the energy beams that he shot.<br /><br />I do not think they were "laser beams" per se, they do not have the look and feel of lasers. More like focused cosmic energy. Why did Gloop and Gleep need seperate identities?
