Okay - I actually thought you might've been referring to Kaito Nakamura (now, sadly, deceased - or is he?), aka Sulu, aka George Takei. And took the opportunity to mention the latest 'young Spock.'

Micah's great-aunt, though - how did I miss that? I even have a real-world tale to go with that. My younger daughter literally ran into Nichelle Nichols as she was exiting an elevator in Boston, about 5 years ago (to the best of my recollection). She had no idea whom she had bumped into - and, worse, didn't seem to care. My wife gave our daughter a stern look (I wasn't present for this momentous event, darnit), called her name, and said something like, 'You just ran right into someone; now what do you say?' Our diminutive redhead, already standing in the elevator, turned around and brightly chirped, 'Sorry!' Ms. Nichols, totally unperturbed, smiled, said, 'It's all right,' and went her way.

Oh, well, there it is: the brush with greatness that little girl was unable to comprehend... : (
