lunar module, ascent stages fate

I have written NASA several times in the last few years, to find out if the lunar module ascent stages from the Apollo programs lunar missions, are still in orbit around the moon. Does anybody know if they are still there, or who I should ask? NASA has never answered my question. Thanks for any help. Frank

Check the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal, I think I remember there's a table in there saying what happened to them all.
