1.0g may be made from 0.55g rocks or comets and landing stuff on them. They need point defense. A 1.2g world around Sirius would need it if platforms are to send rocketed mass.
Water is an issue. The wars now are okay but any bigger and someone would dump water into the core. Gas masks for a while at best but lots of time to evacuate. Earth had nitrogen and oxygen an atmosphere and no NO2 at 100000 yrs. The Fe core was gas phase but magnetic already, so it repelled the O2. This happen around 2/1000 worlds, but is artificially prevented from happening within 1000 LYs. Earth-2 has NOx enough it can never be thawed; rubble can be 15C or STP. Earth-5 600 LY had underground water but still not dropped to 20C.
Water is why less than one million people can hit up the in the plane 200 LY distance four stars with ices and gases. Not for 500k yrs when canyons channeling water to be pumped up can be made. 4000 yrs from now we have one acre of nature on a rubble pile. Eventually rubble chemistry is improved unlike Earth-5, the limit this side of the galaxy. You can rocket parts off the rubble pile too. They key is to stay in the plane. 800 LYs out is a good star where domes won't be needed most of the time. Rigel 30M yrs ago had star brushes and 6x Earth radiation, 10M yrs ago was ideal and 8x Earth radiation and was worth 80% my (Procyon had it #1) plan on a trillion people possible. Rubble is 96% the terraforming plan judged by Time-1 as 2/3 on terra-firma and not 2/3 space travel.
