shy aleins are shy

from my childhood have been listening about the aliens that aliens do visit earth but i have never seen any flying saucers and why alines shy to reveal themselfs to the public or to the masses? if a humans reaches anyother planet where there is life like us, will they also do the same thing or they will try to contact them? <br />

Maybe they saw the movie from the 50's, "The Day the Earth Stood Still". I hope I named it right, it IS one of my favorites. Anyway, that may have caused them to be hesitant about revealing themselves.

Or like that movie <i>Alien Nation</i> (cool play on the word <i>alienation</i>), humans are discriminating against the aliens. So one can feel for the aliens' side of it.

You may be right. One summer from college I was a summer intern for a church in south Texas. My partner and I were the assistants to the Youth Director. <br /><br />And one night we had a youth meeting and met one of the "Zappers" who were tromenting a local school. They were suppose to be half-aliens who "zapped" others with their finger, or some such nonsense. She was just like you said, with bottle-cap glasses. But that was who we were sent to work with, and try to reach. <br /><br />But that was who I thought of with your post. Now back to the lighter side of shy aliens.
