THE best Sci-Fi Universe in memory. Unlike Universe's such as Trek, Wars, BSG, etc., the Mass Effect Universe is the most plausible, and in depth(up front). I'm not sure how many of you have gotten the opportunity to play either of the two games in the series, but it is extremely well done; and i'd imagine any science/space fan would lose himself in it.
