Forget GMT.

It's 8:51pm UK Time, 3:51pm EDT. Why US sites keep quoting GMT is beyond me.

>"3:51 p.m. EDT (1951 GMT)" yet the clock at the top of the page indicates a GMT launch time of about 20:51 GMT.
The author's article is correct - 1551EDT is 1951GMT. The UK is currently on BST (one hour ahead of GMT), giving you 2051BST (watch then!!!).

Note that the JavaScript clock at the top of the page depends on the timezone set on your computer, if it isn't set to summer time the times will be 1 hour off.

> T-10 minutes and holding it in.
Then you've got a strong bladder....considering the 20 minute built-in hold at T-9 minutes!

When I first heard her this morning, I wasn't sure what you guys were talking about, but now, I agree. Her voice is like shoving a cheese grater into my ears. It also sounds like she's got swimming noseplugs on.

However, she's still got a cooler job than I'll ever have, so more power to her!

Ugh, streaming video and audio is already getting choppy! Oh well, when they light the candle, I'm running up to the roof of where I work anyway. :)

George just said the effects of the seabreeze are already beginning, somewhat earlier than expected. I hope this means it will be more likely the breeze will have pushed the storms inland by 3:51 pm.
