No kidding. While I respect everyone's right to believe whatever they want, this isn't the right thread for that.

'Do they think there is a hole in the elevon?'
'Nope, they have no reason to think that.'
Should suffice.

Well back to the mission then.
Atlantis will undock at 10h42 AM EDT, or 14h42 GMT.
The fly around will start at 11h07 AM EDT, or 15h07 GMT.
I'm so curious about the new look, because it will look much bigger with 2 pairs of solar arrays on both sides!

"out board arrays"

Were those the ones made by Mercruiser?

Great mission. STS117 accomplished everything on their agenda!
Wishing you folks a safe trip home. Job well done by all (Edit: including our friends erioladastra and S_G!!)
Looking forward to the next mission!

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Wanna see this site looking like the old SDC uplink?

Go here to see how: SDC Eye saver

Yeah she really looks good. Finally starting to look like the poster that's been on my cube wall since '98!

Looks amazing flying over the clouds below.

"Therefore, it is only one of three protection mechanisms in the line between the power being generated and the computers themselves. "

...all of which were in place prior to the event! So I wouldn't really rely on them.

Cool view. If you watch the view of the orbiter from ISS, you can occasionally see the RCS fire.

Anyone know what time the de-orbit burn is scheduled for? Or is it a bit too early to tell? I'm going to miss the STS. The new capsule thing on the drawing board just won't be the same.

Me, wishes that the international space agencies (including a lot of countries that are not already contributing eg:Australia) had created a new Shuttle. I feel that what we all learnt off the STS program could've been taken a step further and made a totally awesome vehicle.

Sorry, always feel a bit saddened to know it's all over in 2010.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Wanna see this site looking like the old SDC uplink?

Go here to see how: SDC Eye saver

I was wondering the same thing about the white object.
I took about ten pictures of it as the object rotated behind the station.

Columbia and Challenger

Starships of Heroes

Just saw a live view on CNN showing the back of the space shuttle with ISS off in the distance --- it looked like the Shuttle is being chased by a Tie Fighter.
